Introducing Safeter, Your Solution for Reopening Safely

We are very excited to launch Safeter today, and make it fully available for the world to use.

Safeter’s mission is to make reopening and staying open safe and easy for employers and employees around the world.  The COVID-19 pandemic has unquestionably changed the world, and how we live day to day. It’s for sure changed how we work, with many opting to work remotely. But many people want to get back to their offices or stores or factories.

Our goal is to enable HR to allow their employees to show up and be their best, whether for collaboration, social interaction, mental health, or because they just need to do their job on location. We aim to provide an easy-to-use, flexible, mobile app solution for scheduling employees to come back to your site, managing testing, and conducting symptom checks.

Safeter came to be, because we (Amar Goel and Anand Das, the two founders) wanted to help contribute what we could to the efforts to stop the pandemic.  We realized that our knowledge of building quality software products might be able to help in keeping people safe around the world and we might be able to help the economy at the same time.  As we started talking to companies, schools, and hospitals, we heard a lot of different feedback about what people needed. Some of it was driven by people’s own instincts, some of it from fear, and some of it driven by what was needed from a medical perspective – but overall we saw that people needed help and most companies were not ready on their own to handle how COVID-19 is transforming the workplace.

We really hope our tools can help you and your organization manage this brave new world.

We would also be remiss if we didn’t mention all the folks that have helped us get here and make Safeter available.  In particular, I’d like to call out Shuhan He, a doctor who founded, and Debbie Lai, COO of  Both of them have been invaluable mentors as we figured out the best way to help companies.
